Bonneville Cutthroat Trout 17" (2006)
17" Bonneville Cutthroat on stylized base with carved rocks. In the summer of 2005 I taught a fish carving class in West Yellowstone, MT. On our way there, we stopped just inside the Wyoming border where I fished a small stream for Bonneville Cutthroat. I caught several fish, this one being the best of them. It was a great carving class and three of my students won ribbons with their very next carvings. My "ribbon" was carving this beauty the following year
